Cool Christmas??

So my wife calls me earlier and asks what else I want for christmas......I can think of a lot of things that would break the bank, but that won't fly this year. So.......Give me some suggestions.

Cheaper mods I can do that won't break the bank, try to keep it around $100 or less.

BTW, I've got an intake and driveshaft loop for now. I do have headers waiting to go on the car, but I've got a long list of parts to go with the header install.....

Let me know what you guys come up with......

it's a 1993 Z A4 for those wondering.....

good recommendations but I want the good stuff, no cheapo parts.....I'd rather wait and get the good stuff. I love Spohn's Chromemoly double adjustable stuff (used it in the past)......

B&M supercooler for your trans. Just a thought, or just take the cash and add it to the kitty for later mods.

I didn't say it was, but I really like Steve's stuff. I've bought and installed it in the past, and it works really well. When I dive into the suspension it will be done once and right with chromemoly steel. and FWIW they aren't $100 or less

double rod end adj, LCA's and the moly is $30 more........

You need double adjustable LCA's with spherical rod ends for your stock LT1? The f? He was giving a legit suggestion but okay

I understand where he is coming from and it is a good suggestion, but since the money is coming from my wallet to pay for it, I refuse to buy parts twice. Why buy LCA's that are unadjustable with poly mounts if I'm going to replace them in the future. I'd rather spend the money once and not have to worry about reselling parts. Call me old fashioned, but I do things once and do them right, not multiples.....I'm not rich

I do agree that for a general wrencher/ younger person it would be a viable option.....I'm picky, you can ask my wife. I had an issue get the pacesetters I did, but since I got them for some side work that I did, I will put them on, too bad the when the motor is done I'll need 1 7/8" primary headers.......but I can put those on when the motor goes in and I didn't spend but a few hundred to get these L/T's in.....

Not to change the topic, but what HP level are you planning on, that you would need 1 7/8ths headers? Are you going to run nitrous?

At some point in the future......not anytime soon obviously.......I'm looking for well over 500 RWHP N/A......Hoping for more like 600 and then juice on top.....

wrenched on another car that was similar to the setup I'm planning and it put 525 to the tires on a mail-order tune.

OK, 5 or 600 plus the juice makes more sense then. Good luck and happy holidays!!

I would definetly grab a pair of LCA Relocation Brackets from your preferred company for ~$100. It will increase your traction and eliminate any wheel-hop if you have any.
