Maybe someone with the info, or ALLDATA, or GMTECH if he's feeling really kind, can give you the specs on voltage/ohms for the sensor. You can then unplug the sensor and take a multimeter to it and spin the wheel while reading the ohms, or put the multimeter's probe pins through the backside of the plugs (might have to remove a little piece of plastic clipped onto the plug and the piece of rubber that keeps out moisture, in order to get to the metal contacts) while it's plugged in with KOEO and spin it to check the voltage. We did this on a Bravada (97) with the same problem you are experiencing, and found out which wheel was causing this to happen, leading to replacing the hub like DAVE did. Even though it was just a few weeks ago, I can't remember the voltage I want to say that it was supposed to be like 1.5v (+ or - only like 200mV) spinning at one rotation a second, which is easy to do with it jacked up and the wheel on still. That was ALLDATA's testing procedure for anyone that doesn't have the scanner that'll read that sort of thing

if you know someone with a scanner that can help too. You can see each wheel speed sensor and find out which one is acting up

My '97 Has sensors on each rear wheel. I think this is the difference between 3and 4 channel ABS?

to bad you live in sw fl i would scan it for free, ohms don't really tell you too much for a problem like this. if you are wanting to check voltage you have to switch your meter to milli volts and back probe the connector at the wheel speed sensor or the pins at the ebtcm if you want to check the whole circuit. while spinning the wheel and watching the voltage it should be 950mv or higher i like to compare sides. i have seen alot of problems with the jumper harness on the front, hub bearings, chaffed wires, and corrision inside connectors. good luck!

It has 2 rear sensors because the car has traction control cars that came from the factory without traction control only have 1 sensor on top of the diff

This is definately something I can do to check myself thanks so much bro. I will compare sides, the thing is it hasnt done it in the past day and a half I an really hoping it is a bad wire.

So I tried to get a reading off the connector on the wheel hub with my multimeter but had no luck I guess I couldn't get the probe to get a good contact with the pins inside the connector, BUT the wires and connectors all looked good, no corrosion or bad wires that I could see. I took off the drivers kick panel to find the EBCM to try and test it and all I could find was this little box ( not sure what it is )

Can anyone tell me how to find this EBCM and what I need to test ( a picture would be greatly appreciated )

Dont forget to check the rear sensors they are external unlike the front sealed units. The reluctor ring on the axle will get rusty and shoot rust at the sensors which are magnetic That could cause some issues.

Ha fukk that then I am not pulling the dash apart to find it lol I found on Ebay a place selling front hubs for $72 so unless I can find them cheaper I am just going to get two of those and see if that fixes the problem, if not well then I still have two new wheel hubs up there

I thought that on non-tcs cars the third reluctor/sensor was on top of the differential and internally

Never thought about that both my cars had tc but look underneath by the axle and check to see if the sensor is on top of the pumpkin or by the axles.

I found a melted connector on mine near the passenger side header collector. I rerouted the wire a little farther away from the header. Maybe one is grounding out? It may be as easy as looking under it and inspecting the ABS wires.
