Default convert LT1 to carb but what i do in the Distributor spark

hi

how are you all

Iam now convert lt1 to carp but the distributor spark it tow for engins 350

Such the picture



and thes one It to provide the timing of <air regulator




What is the best

in my opinion, either of those are good distributors.

i have the second on on my LT1 that is also carbed, it works very well.

the only dfference i can notice bewteen the two pictures is that the first one is a "small cap" with a "mechanical" advance

and the second is the "large cap" with "vacuum advance"

vacuum advance is better for street manners.

For a street car the vacuum advance distributor is more forgiving, whereas the mechanical advance requires more time to get it dialed in.
