lt1 build writeup
lt1 build writeup are there any writeups out there on assembling an lt1 that are pretty comprehensive.. its been two years since i assembled my last motor and i dont want to miss a thing..
That's what I used. It took a bit to get used to: Parts of the information you really need is included in the text, parts are in the photos, which are in a separate section. If you read it thoroughly, more than once, and put both text and pics together, it is very good. It skimps over a few details, since it is also written for those who choose carbs and rear distributors, but well worth the expense.

i went to every book store in Houston this weekend and they didnt have the book so i just went to amazon (the link I posted) and ordered it, I signed up for the 30 free trial and got it for $14.99 with free 2nd day shipping so ill have it wed.
If you want an additionally useful book - throw your Haynes in the garbage and buy an OEM Service Manual for the year of your car. The misinformation in the Haynes and Chilton manuals are disgusting. I have a 1995 OEM Service Manual - 2 books + the update book. Not only does it have awesome information in there, it has tons of schematics, diagrams, and most of the 2nd book is dedicated to DTC troubleshooting. Extremely useful.
