a carb engine makes more power then a fi engine..gm found this out in the 80s..a good read is right here..

im also about to do a swap..going carb and not looking back..but i want to try and run a vic jr gen 1 intake on mine..so im going to have to mod.

That's great if all you ever do is run around town at WOT. In the world of the daily driven car though, FI is a superior system. It will provide better mileage, better average power and longer engine life than a carb will.
Drag racers found that out decades ago that injected cars just didn't make as much WOT power using the old mechanical setups.

if your talking to me then, idk wat the cams specs are, the original owner says its a custom grind, but when i pull it out for the build im a have it checked out and get the specs.

all i know about that cam is it idles nicely around 900rpm, and it starts pulling hard at almost exactly 3k an hauls *** up to 7k, and i turn it 7k on a eekly basis lol, im hard on my ****!
