Also it is best to put it back on in the same orientation. sometimes it doesnt make a difference..b ut sometimes it does.
I usaully wedge a long prybar or a screwdriver in the flywheel holes and the block.
last .. get the ol opti off and you will need a small torks bit with a inverted dimple or hole in the middle to get the screws off to dissassemble the unit. If you plan on opening it up..you might as well get a new cap and rotor. can make a big difference if its got some decent mileage or if you got an aftermarket ignition box cranking up the voltage. The cap and rotor kits come with a new gasket..but i like to silicone it around the connector plug part of the unit.
