It's all in the tune... 42lb injectors are fine even with a stock motor.

My car ran the stock injectors up to 389rwhp, duty cycles were maxed and just about running out of fuel past 6,000rpm.

Switched out the stock injectors and replaced them with 42lb Racetronix injectors, re-tuned the car... now it idles and performs better than it ever did, just like the stock idle. Perhaps a tad lumpy due to the cam, but off idle response and part throttle transition could not be any smoother!

It's all in the tune... end of story!

It just doesn't seem happy. The idle skips around all over the place, especially when the car is warming up. And at the track, the car will seem fine for the first 100 ft or so, and then it just seems to run out of power and fall flat on its face. No drop in power, it just seems to run outta oomph

youve checked all the normal things? mine always felt like it was running great until i took it to the track and got on it, i had a couple burned wires that were arcing. check all that?

when mine was acting up it would feel like it would pull hard then just fall flat on its face, felt like it was running out of fuel or something but it was arcing wires. and thats always easy to check.. easy to happen with headers on these cars as well

My ex had problems with that on his 95 TA as well. I've checked mine, they all seem fine. Maybe I'll replace them just in case, it has been a few years

I was burning up MSD's plug wires so I swicthed to Taylor's 10.4 for the crank trigger. The silicon is nice and soft, the boots are thick but deeper so not to touch the header.

Never thought of that. I'll give it a shot tonight.
