It actually originated as duck tape if you want to be **** about it. It was intended for waterproofing [hence, duck].

yep, so i dont see why u cant take that new LS head and intake setup and convert the heads to whatever needed to make it work..the same way guys take SBC heads amd turn em into reverse cooling.

interesting idea, though farfetched. but...i think with enough time and.... $$ it can be done.

or just hav a sheet metal intake made for the LT1. itll give off that look of the carbed LSX intake.

it's not worth the time, $$$ & fabrication down time when more of that time can be spent on the street or track. sure it's feasible, but it's just not economical. but by all means, get cracking on it and let us know how it turns out in a year or so...

This local shop (which blows) usually only works on LS1's.. My friend went in there with an LT1 and they were all so confused. One guy was like, damn, I've never seen that kind of intake manifold on an LS1!!

Maybe you are thinking of the block by World that uses the SBC bottom end but LSx top end. I know of no other head like what you are imagining. The only SBC head that would come close is the SB 2.2/ROx or some of the Brodix stuff. But those use a diff block as well. Nothing Gen1 anyway.

How do you call that a joke? It looked serious so I answered seriously. No need to be a dick.
