i'm not really sure why you'd want an ls1 intake anyways? such a long runner length, better off with a supervic or victor jr even.

reading all this was the biggest waste of time ever lmfao

NO YOU CANNOT DO AN LS1 INTAKE ON AN LT1....

done and done...

as for the whole LSx heads on a Gen1 small block, i'm sure you could do that, HOWEVER, that has nothing to do with this topic at all. If you where trying to maybe hint at putting LSX heads on an LT1, good luck, cuz LT1's have a completely different, reverse flow coolant system.

LT1s and LS1s MOTORS share NOTHING but 5.7 liter displacemet, same neighborhood HP factory ratings, and lifters. Not cranks, not pistons, not heads, intakes, alternators, power steering pumps, water pumps, AC components, NOTHING else. Thats it and all...

interesting idea, though farfetched. but...i think with enough time and.... $$ it can be done.

or just hav a sheet metal intake made for the LT1. itll give off that look of the carbed LSX intake.
the block is a special world block. the top of the deck was cast like an ls1 so that the heads were a bolt-on. They don't fit a typical sbc/lt1.

they both displace 5.7 liters buddy.....I know the LS1 is a 346, and The LT1 is a 350...but the DISPLACEMENT (5.7 liters) is the same buddy...........

and last time I checked...these where the factory rated HP for some of the cars...

OBDII Regular LT1 285 HP
LT1 ss/ws6 305 HP
LT1 Firehawk 315 HP
LS1 Trans am/formula/Z28 305 HP
LS1 WS6/SS 320 HP

I'd say a usual 5-15 HP difference is in the same "neighborhood"

Exactly.
That's how you get "an LS1 intake into an LT1 car."

no im pretty sure i know where i am. you are lost....trying to find LS1 crappy plaStic intake power in an LT1. there is a reason gm only made them for a few years. they even tried to give the Fbody a longer chance at it for the 97 year model....it still failed. sorry your crappy car still doesnt need this crappy intake, or cannot use it for that matter.

hmm for some reason 97-2009 seems like a longer number....and carries NOTHING of the LT1 design with it. yah, that does seem right
