M28 and M29 are the rpo codes for the 6 speeds offered that year. M29 is the good one in my opinion.

Does it still have the options sticker on the glove compartment lid?

This shows all the options and codes. It is indeed a M29, from what it says is it better only because of the upgraded 1st and 3rd gears? What are the specs of code M28?

The option sheet on the glove compartment paired with the VIN and the block number is the only REAL way to know it is in fact a factory LT1, T-56 car. There was only 3500 of these made in 1993! I don't care what that webs site database says.

I would look at it but I'm not at home right now. If you mean 3500 Z28's you are right, but i think they mean that 39,729 hardtop Camaros were made, including V6 cars, because Z28 is counted as an option, not a separate model, back then anyways.

"back then"? We ain't that old yet! I think they are going to put the LSA motor in the new Z28. It has a blower and charge cooler but is a little cheaper than the LS9!

Hahah, we're gettin close then being early years of an already old generation. But old is good. Do they still refer to the SS models in the codes as the "SS Option" or "SS package"? All the advertising now has been leading me to believe that they now consider v6 and v8 completely separate models. Marketing I guess?
This true? That's scary knowing it's gonna be cheaper than a ZR1 with that much power, might hurt vette sales.

Vette sales? Believe me them boys who are getting the LS9 ZR-1's have got the jack! And the more they buy then the Z-28 will be a little cheaper see. GM will sell them and cadallacs for a couple years and then they will be able to sell us Z-28's for less. I like the ground effects on the RS packages and always have.

What am I thinking, hahaha!! Only people with money can buy vettes, and new cars for that matter. I got lost in all the motor trend BS about Camaros hurting lagging vette sales.

I sure don't, but I'm a Corvette enthusiast first and foremost, and if the Vette ever died, what a shame. But that ain't happening.
Depreciation is the reason why you can buy a beater for 300 bucks.

Johnny,

Of course I lurk on here. I'm the one that gave you the website! And I remember you saying you paid like 300 bucks for the tt2s or something a while back. But, my wife would have a heart attack if I spent any money at all on "god damn wheels" as she puts it lol.

I replaced Opti, Plugs, Headgaskets, water pump, coil, and a bunch of other **** that was toast shortly after I got that camaro.

Also, I will probably have mine painted shortly, springs, and a whole new suspension are on the way as well.

Johnny said something about looking up the code online and it was a 1LE I think. I have no idea what any of that means. And technically he didn't steal it since I signed the title to him.

All in all I think it was a great deal because I hated that car with my entire soul lol.

The story on how I got that camaro is a very sad one indeed.

LOL man!

I hope she thinks better of it now with them on.
And the paint too.

A little update here. I discoved it's so damn loud because of that shitty welded up cat.
It has no AC, Cruise, power seats, mirrors, windows, rear defroster, trunk/hatch lights, fog lights, and of course no radio.

It runs and shifts damn good. It does have 4.10's that are properly calibrated, on the 1993's a gear had to be changed to do that instead of tuning. So someone did that part right.

I hate the speed density, that rain the other day didn't make it run any better.

According to the option codes it came with AC, so it is not a 1LE, but it might as well be a reproduction.
There were only 19 1LE cars made in 1993 btw.

EDIT! Nevermind that previous edit
