Default Morel lifters for LT-1 link bars or no

Looking to purchase some Morel lifters for my 355 turbo motor. Which one is the most popular on the LT-1, link bar style or OEM with spider. THis is assuming it will be in a very high output app just not spinning it to the moon. Maybe 6800RPM. Thanks

Is there a reason you don't feel that LS7 lifters won't work?
Morel makes good stuff, but I just don't see a justification for their pricetag.

I saw the Morels used with linkbars 3-4 years back when I was building my first H/C LT1.
I considered it, but opted for OEM-style Comp lifters since I couldn't find any reason
to spend the extra $250+ on Morels.

To be honest never considered the LS7 lifters. What about the height? IS that going to change when going to an LS7 lifter? IF so I would assume different length pushrods would cure that easily enough and I just so happen to need a set of those at this time as well.

When you have a wheel come off an LS7 lifter and it take out your bottom end you'll know why the Morel is used.

Are they needed in all applications ? No, but we rpms and heavy springs and big cams are a good application for them. I can get any Morel you need (usually stock 6 sets) and I also have LS7 lifters in stock as well.

copy. Can you match thunder racinings pricing on them? Also which is more popular the bar link or OE style with spider on high output LTX motors? Thanks I would only like to do this once. $500 is cheap insurance....

Running the Morel BBC lifter in my new LT-1. Ran it in my old motor with no issues after the comps kept coming apart. Turned them 7500 in my old 396 and they never failed. I would reccomend.

That about says it all! Thanks. My builder used some off brand jobs that he likes but I do not trust and the last thing I need is to have an inferior lifter go bad. Thanks to everyone who replied. I feel good now about getting these. Will most likely purchase from CC. One more thing, are these stock length? I think the pushrods I have now are Trick Flow 7.4's
