Default Lt1 Fuel Rails

What is the most amount of power y'all have run on the factory fuel rail design without any lean problems? Im building a head and cam 355 lt1 using a cc306 cam. Thinking of getting a set of 36's and a regulator and call it a day. Ive sorta started on a custom fuel rail setup but realized that its starting to cost more than i particularly want to spend right now. If i have to do it later on down the road i will but would like to start simple. All of this is going in a 87' 944 turbo.

With the setup your planning, stock rails will more than suffice.

For that amount of power you are well within the capacity of the OEM fuel system. I wouldn't start looking for more fuel until you're running substantial boost, nitrous, or seriously high overall power levels.

Ditch the aftermarket fuel regulator - it will only cause you problems. The stock regulator is plenty.

Rail is not going to be a concern till you multiply that power at least 2 times, probably 3. I would replumb it(feed and return lines) to hit those levels but at your level even the stock feeds are fine.

Stock rails (with fittings added and backed by a full fledged fuel system) have easily gone way over 1000rwhp. No worries. And like alot of people here will confirm the stock lines can support quite a bit more than one would think.
