well ifs that true, and you put a 98 front end on then only a 98 hood would fit then . To put a 98 front end on all due is add 3 brackets for it to work

Hey:

Just update the whole front end to a newer 98+ SS front end or Sunoco cowl hood, get the catfish look.

I never knew why they even call it wide.. It's just taller. When I first read "wide sunoco", I though it would be the cowl extending further left and right. Oh well. Looks badass either way

yea, to me, wide would be like the harwood, which looks awful to me. No offense to those who own it, my opinion seems to be in the minority, surprisingly.

Default Stinger hood

Not sure if you count this as a cowl hood, but this I what I chose for my car.

Sorry for the crappy photo, lousy cell phone camera. Fit is great, picked it up from Hawks 3rd Gen.

I've had 2 cowl hoods. The 1st was a American Sportscar design 3" that I sold b/c it got too much attention from Va. state po. (it hid the state inspect sticker). The current hood is a VFN 2" original style cowl. I like the Vfn, It fits much nicer & I'd buy another.

I was never a fan of Lt1 Camaros styling. After seeing your car i am actually trying to hunt one down to make it my daily driver. And yes im going to bite off of your style to the "T". lol

Just do a search for my hood pics. I have the sunoco outlaw wide hood for an LT1.... I'll post a pic when i get home. It's huge, it has NO rib down the middle and goes all the way to the windshield...

actually just look at my youtube videos and you'll see it on there like 10 times....

my purge video shows it very clearly....

Mine is a Glasstek 4" Cowl with the "rib" like Black94Z28. Why don't you like the "rib"? I think your car would look great with it. Anyway, good luck with your next hood. Now off topic, your car SIC LSX is freaking sic looking! Makes me wish I also had an LS1. A lot of nice hoods in this thread.

Thanks! I actually plan on doing the RK Sport 5 inch rear spoiler to give it more of a "Z/28" rear end look vs the SS rear with the Z front end. Plus I need to drop the front 2 inches to get rid of some wheelwell gap, but its all time and money. lol

mine

VERY hard color to match, still not even close. The bumper already being off doesn't help.
