NOS refers to a company, not a product. The appreviated term is N2O but no one takes the time to use it that way. There are other local terms, like mentioned, but whenever someone uses "NOS" to describe nitrous (and not the company), I can not take them seriously and I have to walk away.

Every denist and doctor that I have come across uses the term nitrous oxide or just nitrous, never "NOS"

Don't let these guys fool you, they all call it nawz at the local meets.

I vote nawz until you snap a rod. Then do a rebuild with all the bolt-ons at one time.

First things first...what is your budget? In terms of cost, there's no comparison between a basic nitrous setup and a supercharger kit.

Edit: I've seen more than a couple LT-1 cars for sale with a "rebuilt engine" (~90-110k on the cars) and including a supercharger kit along with it. Having seen that on a few occasions, I don't think I'd throw a supercharger at an otherwise stock LT-1. :2cents:

On my old ss I had a used wet hsw kit and a msd ws and only paid a little over $300 shipped, juice is the way to go on a budget.

As of now my budget is enough for a nice new Nitrous (NOS!) system ha. I don't want to go all ***** out right now just mild. I plan on the simple add ons over this winter. I Just want a small system or a large one that only sprays a little. I dont want too use alot. I dont feel like blowing motor anytime soon
