Default My H/C LT1 Dyno

The car isn't set up for hero dyno numbers, never has been, never will be. It's an auto with an unlocked Vigi 3200 it also has a 12 bolt in it. So it isn't the typical six speed/10 Bolt dyno monster. The tune is 100% mail order with out any revisions, it's exactly what I got when I ordered it from Ion. Thanks Owen at ARD for letting us on his dyno and my friend Joe94B4C for taping the pulls and getting the graphs.

Set Up in a nut shell: Ported Dart Pro-1s, CC306, SVO 30#, AS&M 54mm TB, Hooker LTs, Off Road Y, Borla (no Plate (E-cut out), EWP, Stock 4L60, Vigi 3200 unlocked, Strange 12 Bolt, Mail order Mad Z28 tune.

Uncorrected 2 Pulls

STD Corrections

saw this on you tube awhile back same car??? its nice, sounds healthy. and the hp numbers are good being a 12bolt and 3200 unlocked converter.. **** imagine what they would have been with a m6 and stock 10bolt overall nice car man.

1989 5.0 notchback
Those cars are awesome.

Thanks, it's the same car as the youtube video, you posted. We plan to dyno tune the car when the 24X LS1 PCM conversion is done. I guess this was just the starting base line.

I say the car did a great job with 373rwhp on an unlocked stall. The torque reading is lower than expected for a setup like that but we all know how a stall converter can throw those numbers off BIG time (mine put down 390rwtq unlocked, highly doubt that is accurate lol). Dyno numbers vary so much whether the stall is locked vs. unlocked or sae vs. std corrected etc. etc. that it makes things so complicated to compare cars and setups. Most importanly that looks like a strong setup that will run into the 11's with ease, nice job!

Very nice numbers Neil. I saw where you were collecting parts for your LS1 PCM conversion. I'm going to be watching that with some interest as I'm thinking that's the way to go. Anyway let me know if you head out to any meets!

That's b/c you are a dumbass who can't comprehend the differences between the 2 setups and the readings. This car is faster than yours

Neil should have added that this is just a BS tune. It was just a base tune to get it running. The AFR/timing are likely WAY off. It runs very good. I would expect a high 11 ET out of it with a nice 1.6 60'.

oh damn you really got me there you ******* moron.

im glad i now know there are faster cars out there than my 73. I could read the OP were it says this tune has been untouched. I meant he has a good starting point with the tune but I myself would be excited about the TQ numbers the car put down. Why dont you go back to swinging on some "fast car" boys nuts
