so i have never been to one of these events and i really want to go... now i am driving a 96 z28 with a B4C package. it is a hard top with an A4 and vigilante 2800 stall will be in this weekend. it also has an eaton posi with 373's. i havent ran it with the 373's or the stall but i was wondering what i might run in a 1/4 at 5300 altitude??? and what could i do to get down into the 11's for the shootout??? im a college kid and dont have a lot of money but i want to atleat try. thanks for any help!!! hope to see yall down there.

 

The cheapest way to run 11s from there would be headers, catback, drag radials, and nitrous IMO. That's still going to set you back $2,000-2,500 if you buy everything new. You could pick up the headers, catback, and nitrous used and get new tires to save some cash.
