Default where to find 1-7/8" dia LTs for an LT1/LT4?

Ive checked all the sponsor and only a few list actual header diameter. the closest i found to 1-7/8s are kooks stepped headers that cost 1200, and imo thats overkill for exhaust. any ohter header suggestions, do pacesetters make this size?

Buy a set of hedman hustlers.... They are 1 3/4 primaries, stepped to 1 7/8 with 3.5" collectors....

HED-65386-6 for the stepped ones... The -6 at the end of the partnumber is for ceramic thermal coating...

Or you can go with HED-65387 for a true 1 7/8" primary all the way down. It'll be tough to fit the steering rack thru on those however.... they don't show a part # for ceramic coating so you'd have to ask Hedman if you can just put a -6 on the end of the 65387 and get em coated.... They are about 1000 bucks... Me and Tony Shepherd run the stepped ones... No issues at all... they're great headers...

What kind of build are you running that needs 1 7/8" primaries all the way down? Just curious.

I know the Kooks are expensive but when you have a set of them next to a set of say Hookers they are worth the money. I have Hookers on my car and my dad recently bought some Kooks Stepped 1 3/4-7/8 and they are a piece of artwork compared to any brand of headers I have ever owned. The venturi merge spike is lightyears ahead of the Hookers that's for sure. I was reading a post on LS1GTO.com before we bought the Kooks where they dynoed a GTO and switched between Pacesetter, SLP, and Kooks 1 3/4 LT's and the Kooks made the more power and torque. I believe they made 7rwhp/9rwtq more at peak IIRC. I never use to be able to justify spending that kind of money on just headers until I have seen the Kooks in real life, installed them, and used them.

my ground clearance isn't all that bad..... hell once I start my turbo build i'll sell you these for like 500 bucks.....

My car is not lowered and i have plenty of room. If it's lowered you'll probably have like 2.5-3.5" of clearance from the ground to collector..

Understandable but remember you could easily sell them and get quite a bit of cash back.
