engine internals

ok so i bought a roller z28 that im putting back together.. i keep hearing about a reluctor wheel that goes infront of the crank gear.. i have a 97 front cover.. what crank hub and or reluctor wheel do i need

parts i have so far.
crank
rods
pistons
piston rings
gasket set
intake manifold
heads
block
cam bearings
valve covers
timming set
main bearings
rod bearings
freeze plugs
arp rod bolts
lifter dog bones
lifter hold down tray
pushrods
96-97 timming cover
cc306 cam

parts i know i need
roller rockers
valve springs
oil pan
oil pump

what other parts do i need that i am leaving off

What year is this Z28..?

its a 94 z28 obd1 but im going with a vented opti the cam that i bought has the longer dowel as well.

Ok..well you don't need the Reluctor crap or the Cover with the Sensor on it. Since you have it you can use it, but you just have to install the Sensor so you don't throw Oil everywhere. If you can trade for a 1995 Cover do that..if not just install the Sensor.

ya mine has the sensor.. so just leave that installed in the cover right? other than that what other parts can you see that i need to throw this thing together.

You have the Oil Pump Drive Shaft(get the Melling one from O'Riellys) and the little Drive Gear for that? How bout the Water Pump Drive Shaft & Gear that sits behind the Timing Gear?
