Possibly buying heads

So before the LTX Shootout I am seriously getting some new heads. I have been thinking about saving up for some LE Budget heads cuz I can afford those but I came across these...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fully...Q5fAccessories
Do you think it would be a decent purchase? I have a stock bottom end and for now that is the way it will stay.

Also, what questions should I ask this guy? I'm not real smart when it comes to the engine stuff so I appreciate any help

I would wonder why hes letting them go so cheap? To get stock castings to flow 290's requires lots of work.

Sounds like they are setup for a solid roller, but they should be decent heads if the reputation they get on here is accurate.

i'm thinking I may just wait and save up for some LE heads, but if anyone has a good deal on some heads for a HR cam that would be awesome

so I have two possible deals that I am looking at right now as well. Like I stated before I don't really know all the flow numbers and their meanings but one member has some AFR 195cc heads and another member has '97 stock casting heads with 50cc chambers and the flow numbers are:

I'd hold out for some le2 heads. I wouldn't go with the budget ones because you'll just end up getting better ones at some point and then it will cost more money in the long run. I've heard some horror stories buying ebay heads.
Thought I just saw someone selling le heads cheap either on this forum or cz28.
