Default alarm/lock issue, no help found in electrical section

hi all, i gotta 94 trans am that is "auto-unlocking" . it's a factory system and when i push the "lock" on the remote it will lock then 2 seconds later it unlocks like twice. same thing happens when i am sitting in car and push the electric door lock button. sometimes i'll lock it from the door and it'll stay locked but when i return to the car it is unlocked again. i'm pretty sure the battery in my remote is about dead, however i don't understand why it would be unlocking when using door buttons. i know on past cars my car would auto-unlock because the lock wasn't fully locking so it would unlock all doors, however the locks appear to be fine on my trans am. any help would be amazing.

sorry for length

Well I dont have the same issue but I have a 01 WS6 and after I lock the doors and arm my system about 5 seconds later the car alarm goes off. Also as time progresses the car alarm just starts going off for no reason and I have to go disarm it. I have know idea why this stuff happends. Hopfully some electrical genius will answer you Q. But have you tried reseting the hole system
