Default Good price for ws6 hood?

Hey guys I got an offer for to buy a used ws6 and ram air box for $550. The hood needs paint but I can do that. Anyways is it worth picking up?

the ws6 hood will fit in the back area of an f-body fyi. i did it myself. good price for both pieces

not bad. especially because it includes the box. i picked up my unpainted never installed oem for just over $300 and my airbox w/ K&N and bellow for $115 (2 seperate purchases) but i may have gotten the deal of a lifetime.

I paid $500 for my Firehawk hood, the oem hoods fit better then the after market stuff.

Sounds like a good price for an OEM WS6 hood. I picked up a new OEM WS6 hood that has a small chip on one corner for $340 shipped, but I will have to have a little fiberglass work done on it. $550.00 sounds like a good deal for one in good shape.

did he give you the MAF to TB bellow?

there was an airbox here on ls1tech that ended up on ebay and i saw it sell today for $250

you got a pretty good deal on your setup. mine was a bit cheaper (~ $425 for both from 2 seperate people) but i had to drive about 300 mi round trip to get my hood.

no that would be my car I took a closeup of the hod grills after i got the hood painted and installed in 2008.

i did used to live in glendale, az lol. but i didn't have the ram air at that time.

as for why the boxes are so expensive it's probably because they are discontinued from GM now so anyone who wants one has to buy it used.
