Default power and torque bands..

i was wondering a est power band and tq band..like where the HP curve starts and when power starts dropping..sorry if the title confused some of you..

these are the future mods i hope to do when i get my project running..

camaro LT1
custom CAI
summit twin 58mm TB
port matched intake and heads (maybe possable minor polishing to the ports)
lt4 hotcam, comp cams roller rockers and valve springs
new gaskets, rings, bearings, seals ect and clean up the stock internals (possably balance if budget allows)
headers and custom exhaust dumping before the rear end
lightweight under drive pully
and a pcmforless tune..

also will 3.73's be a good gear with a T5 with this engine setup?

power curves are gonna depend on what is/ if correctly done to the heads. If the T-5 that's gonna be behind this motor is stock anything, it is not going to live long.

the t5 is gonna be rebuild with centerforce clutch, and shifter..and a aluminum flywheel..

im gonna have a buddy do the headwork, he has more experiance with thos types of tools and he has a easier hand than me (my hand shakes like a leaf when i do something like that)

if it makes any defferance ill be running premium gas (i think its like 95 octane here i forget)

I don't think anywhere has 95 premium pump gas. Most premiums are 91..Unless you are lucky like me and have 93 everywhere around

Depends on elevation where what octane is used where. It's 93 here in VA, but the majority of the state is 100' above sea level.

you should be using premium to begin with(even stock.) Are you using 87?
