Gump is getting a new LT1 for IHRA Top Stock. We are paying a lot of attention to the small details. The crank is at the machine shop for it's second time! Hopefully, we will see some gains over last years motor.

The kids car is getting a new BMR Extreme sway bar. If the IHRA comes through with a rule change this car will get a new motor too.

Whenever I have an hour or so to spare, I have been cutting sound deadener and seam sealer out of my new Camaro.

Finally, once the IHRA season is under way, we will start on a new car for the LTX Shootout.

LE2 heads and cam
BMR torque arm with relocation member
Subframe connectors that are long over due
and a dyno tune from speed inc.
and eventually a 12 bolt..

Goals for the firebrid:
I swapped an lt1 6spd in it
hotcam
still have to put the 4.10 rear end in it
need to paint my firehawk hood and a fender for it
DRIVE THE HELL OUT OF IT

Im hoping to be able to do this for this year. I recently purchased an 02 silverado crewcab that I couldnt say no to....So when I recover from the tow rig purchase Ill be back to trying to put the camaro back together.
mine still better be in my car

NIIICE GUYS!! looks like theres gonna be allot of faster LT1's prowlin' the streets in '10!

I'm going to re-do and un-skimp on my head and cam swap I did last summer... that never got squared away anyways and currently runs like crap.

Currently I have an LS1 lid swap and new cc lifters on the way. the intake is getting sent out to be ported. I'm also on the hunt for some red or blue top SVO's and a walboro FP and a pro. prod. 52mm TB, just spacing out my purchases

The water pump looked mint when I had it apart but I'll get a new pump for it since I have the spare cash. I haven't had a single hic-up out of my opti but I think I'll replace that as well, those dragonfire optis look like a quality piece.

I'm not sure if I should get one of those HD gm timing chains or not. A double roller is not an option since an EWP is not an option(plans for AX). what do you guys think? how tough is the stock TC? ~90k miles and not a bit of slack, real hard time getting it off.

I'm VERY tempted on gettin my original heads done up as LE1's or 2's, but I'll have to see how my finances go since I NEED new shocks & struts & a rebuild on the rear this year. I would love to see what an AI 226/234 cammed LE2 headed LT1 would put down tho

I want to get an OTVC kit and do the wire mod and fuel line relocate. already my engine bay will def be allot cleaner when it hits the streets this summer

The cat is getting swapped out for a frozen pypes fake cat. And depending on the sound after that I may or may not put a powerstick in behind it before the axle.

I'm going to get the rear rebuilt and have the 3.73's I have swapped in, I'd like to find an auburn unit for it and get a girdle cap for it too.

I'd like to get some red koni's but might opt for a cheaper alternative because I really want a watt's link and strano sway bars. I'd love to get his springs too but unless I come across some 2nd hand I'll end up going w/ the bmr knock offs since ther in stock. A long umi tq arm w/ relo brackets is up in the air as well, I'll hafta see what I can swing.

And if I have enough after all that I'm going to get a sunoco hood and lightweight battery. I've got a hard on for those LPP's too but we'll see what happens. One thing is I'm going to have to pay a shop for allot of this work since I'm working lonng hours 6-7 days a week so that will put a dent in spending money.

I'm so horny for summer

Those are the new race stars, they look almost identical the the Greg weld race stars, but are redesigned to fit the LT1 or LS1 without grinding the calipers. ! So my car will look the same but I wont need to worry about it.

selling my rusted-hookers and buying some SS LT's. swapping my 275/60 M/T's for a set of 275/50's (too long legged with 28's and a 3.73)
gotta buy a new electric water pump (my CSR **** out last week after 4yrs of DD use)
ditch the ABS box, clean up some wiring, and maybe remove a little weight out of the front end.

Search Race Star Industries, since the debut, there have been quite a few threads started on them. Seems like more and more people by the day are ordering them.

Lets see, trying to finish my PTK turbo build. Changed head unit(was a 76GTS, now most likely going with a PT-88 from forced inductions). Just sold my T-56 in favor of a built 4L80e with Rossler t brake. Installing a 97 cluster with 2002 dash. Wolfe 6 point. Having billet fabrications (jeff) build me a one off 9 quart aluminum pan with a Titan oil pump(tossed my melling in the trash!).

Have to modify the DP to accomodate the 88. Just installed the Efi Connection 24x. And having assorted parts polished along with ARP 12 pts. The 9 inch along with PST carbon shaft should come around the same time as the fuel system.
