What size are the valve guides in a 94 aluminum lt1 head?

This is debatable. Some people have reported the common size of .530" while others have seen .550". You might need to measure.

If buying seals, get .560" diameter seals.

If replacing guides, let a machine shop measure them and figure out what you need.

I measured with my G'pas old 1/64 in. calipers. When i did the math it came out to.5625 in. So i'm guessing that I need to tell patriot to send me the .560 seals. I am asumming they have sent me the wrong ones twice in a row since they won't fit over the guide? inside diameter of the ones they sent is .500. I wouldn't think they would make the same mistake again so I was begining to think my assembly skills were the problem...

Same exact thing happened to me when I tried to buy patriot springs.

I would call and talk with Chad and explain what happened with the seals TWICE and see if he can go hand pick 16 correct seals for you to make sure you get the correct ones.

So I called today and chad told me the seals he sent me are the only ones they have for an lt1. Which doesn't make sense to me because it seems like he would have a ton of issues like mine. Anyway he just said to go to the auto parts store and get some stockers.

I just went through the same thing with my Patriot springs the other day. I had to go to the auto parts store and get stock ones.
