Security light

ok so ive had my car parked for a couple months and i never turned it on so the battery died so i went outside to turn it on and battery was dead so i jumped it with my other camaro and when i turn the key forward to crank it the security light just keeps blinking does anyone know why its doing this and how to fix it?? any help is appreciated

usually the key is bad when that happens. Might try pulling the battery for a few and reconect it see if it resets the BCM

yeah i changed the battery that didnt work so i tried cleaning the key and it didnt work so next ill try the by pass hopefully it works
