HEI install and some PCM Qs Before I pull the trigger on this conversion, I have some questions to ask.
Will I be able to install the distributor with the engine in the car even though the space is so confined?
Another is regarding my gauges and ignition switch since I won't be using the PCM anymore to run the engine. Would I just need to disable the security system?
Will my gauges still work? I have an aftermarket tacho laying around I can use but my oil pressure, voltage and water temperature are my main concern. Will I need aftermarket replacements or just need to wire them separately to the sensors?

not sure if an HEI will fit, i doubt it. look at the low profile offerings from MSD, or their crab cap type. You'll have to run a box and different coil with them i believe.
