Default Granatelli MAF causing bad gas mileage

It's on a '96 Formula completely stock accept for the MAF and now I've lost like 50 - 65 miles to the tank is that due to the richness of the fuel curve now... if thats the problem at all I'm in the dark totally about this... also what are some good prices for the LT4 conversion or at least the LT4 HotCam package I'm wanting to spend around 1500 - 2000 keeping it N/A for the time being.

Make sure everything is sealed as much as possible. There is a little inlet hose outside of the air intake that you may have forgotten to reconnect. As for the hotcam check out samtaylor.com under the parts section they have inexpensive gmpp.

Get rid of the Granatelli MAF. I'm not sure if that's what's causing the bad gas mileage, but they suck anyhow.

The GMAF is most likely the culprit(not a very good mod on most cars). Simply replace it with the stock one and see if thats the problem. Thats the easiest and simplest way of finding out after you have checked for disconnected hoses/clamps, etc.
