the car is stock..i havent touched a thing on the motor but cut the donky dick off..it has a k&n cold air intake and thats it..sorry if story seems jumpy but its what its doing..i parked it and let it sit for 2 weeks and ran fine then did what i first stated car wouldnt get out its own way and was ideling funny..then a week or so later i started it and it ideld fine but would back fire in the exh/pop around the cat..at 4k like i said on the 14th i think..i let the car sit another 2 weeks and started it today and then posted what it was doing in my last post..ive only touched the air intake an such when removing the donkey dick..car has always smelt rich to me also..has stock exh..

 

also im in mass so its cold and damp and when i drove it there was snow on the ground..but i drove it for weeks before in the same conditions...once my opti gets here ill be going threw the car..doing off road headers,ac/heat delete,fresh plugs an wires,oil ,th350 swap and 4.10 gears....

 

Did you block off the hole where you chopped the tube off the intake ?

 

yeah..lol and its sealed up real good..i just realized i got my check engine light back also now..didnt even cross my mind about that..i forgot it went away for no reason..

 

anyone else got any idea..ill be swapping my o2's also when i do the headers.
