That guy that commentates was probably just saying that to make it more interesting, I get sick of that show just cause of him. Its always the super cops there. Nothing against cops but that show is just over the top. All the fast cars they chase seem like they happen to just break down also. Like the one where they are chasing the talon or the one with the bmw.

haha i posted that same vid in another thread just a few days ago. that BMW is not turbocharged nor does it make 240hp either. and yeah 350 horses on the LT1? i think they got the CID and the HP mixed up.

yeah i have read a rumor about that video that says the kid in the BMW actually got away and they edited the video and added the commentary to make it sound like he broke down and was arrested. supposedly it was his dads car and they did arrest him.....at his house the next day after they traced the bmw to the address.

 

He should have parked it after he got away and reported it stolen, unless the cop got a good look at him

 

It was stolen i think. I'm pretty sure the kid stole it from his dad. At least thats what i remember reading.

well there is a logical explination for that too. according to the video it was 1998. It's possible the camaro was the only one of those police cars with a camera in it so maybe they didn't have footage of the guy being arrested because the camaro spun out and hit the guard rail and was out of the pursuit.
