hydro booster. has anyone seen the setup? i have recently installed a cam and have experienced some vacuum loss. i know there are vacuum canisters and pumps. but i kinda want to go in another direction. i have seen setups in other vehicles where they have used brake hydro booster from 90's astro vans, but i have never seen one in a 4th gen lt1. if anyone can post pictures or know about the setup please let me know.
I say go for it. I was talking with a guy who had done it to his LSx powered car and he said it was pretty much a bolt in ordeal aside from the lines. But according to what he said just remove the booster and replace with the hydra-boost booster.
yup exactly. Makes running huge cams and lots of boost really nice and it's more consistent in pedal IMO. Plans are in the works to convert my car......gotta find either a nice used booster or fork over the $500 for a new one......haven't decided yet.
