Default Anyone have pics of UMI's tunnel brace/safey loop installed?

I just finished up installing my transmission cross member/ T/A relocation bracket along with my tunnel brace/safety loop. When i went to install my 3" ORY it just didn't seem like something was right.

The ORY had to sit on the brace itself on the bottom as well as it butting up against the loop square bar bracket. I do not want to get all this back up and running only to hear a bunch of rattling due to the exhaust tapping on it all the time.

So like the tittle says does anyone have this piece installed along with the ORY and have pics they would not mind posting up. Also UMI DOES NOT have any install pics posted up so there is no need to tell me to go and look there for a better idea.

Thanks in advance, Mike

So here is what I am working with there.

Side view of the passenger side routing:

Clearly Touching:

On the top of the ORY on the square bar bracing for the safety loop:

And on the bottom where the drop down section is for the exhaust to run through:

Pics of the safety loop installed? I looked last night and all they had were pics of the product in red and black but non installed. I went and even looked at the pics of the transmission crossmember and the T/A pics and none of them had their safety loop installed.

I've got a BMR unit, don't know if they are different or not, but my exhuast sits CLOSE to the loop but doesn't hit it. I've got about a 1" clearance from the bottom of the pipe to the bracket.

You have the full length torque arm on the tunnel mount torque arm? Mine is a full length torque arm with the relocation transmission crossmember to renove the torque arm off the tailshaft housing. Not sure if that makes a big difference or not but it is crammed as hell in there. I also have hooker LT with ORY. I am assuming there is only one way to install the drive shaft safety loop/tunnel brace and that is with the drop down area on the passenger side for the exhaust and the loop pointed forward. Like I said the ORY sits on the drop down area and on the square bar for the loop itself.

BMR Full Length Adj Torque arm here, and it has the relocation bracket to take it off the tranny. It's tight in there, but like I said my exhaust clears the bottom but sets close to the hoop. The holes in the BMR unit are slotted so I moved the loop as close to the driver side as I could before it started getting close to the torque arm.

Well see that's the thing, the tourque arm itself is the least of my worries. It the safety loop/tunnel brace and my ORY. I guess this thread is worthless without pics to show what I am describing.I'm on my blackberry now so I guess when I get home I will take some pics to show what I am talking about.

Which loop do you have, PN 2032 or PN 2025?

Both of those don't seem like they offer adequate enought clearance for the exhaust, but it's hard to see just looking at pictures. Take a look at the BMR unit, there is clearly a "dropped" down area for the exhaust to go through. Maybe thats why mine clears so much.

The loop offers plenty of clearance on my setup. Here are images from UMI's website for the op.

Hope that helps...

I have the 2025. It helps a little bit other than that is the tunnel mount torque are. So I'm not sure if the tunnel brace itself is different or not. But I do know that I don't have near that room.

Only other thing I can suggest is to try adjusting your exhaust a little. I know before I tightened my clamps on my exhaust I pushed it up as far as I could before tightening them down to try to get as much clearance and I could.

Um.....that thing just looks wrong. Your Y pipe should straighten out way before it gets to your DS loop. I don't know what to tell ya man.

Is that a custom y pipe?
