I feel like I let people down, have had the ported tfs heads for 3+ years and never was able to get any numbers since my car never ran right. Well hopefully I get that done within 6 weeks. Just prepped the block for assembly and cleaned the heads last night.
Can't wait to see your numbers brother.

I was asking them is they simply swapped their stock sized pushrods from the stock castings to their new heads or had to buy new ones. Seeing as I don't have the 21* heads I can't measure.

Of course you are going to have to measure to find out exactly how much longer of a pushrod you are going to need but according to the documents I recieved with the heads they do require a longer pushrod than a factory head on the same deck height

Well thats the thing is most are going to change the cam with the heads and if you do that then you should be changeing the lifters. Different lifters have different cup hights. LS7 lifters are considered a replacement lifter but the cup hight is about .100 shorter than a stock lt1 lifter. Also if you use a small circle base cam the lifter will sit lower in the lifter bore. While most say they are the same size they are not. Always order the pushrods last. lol If they make a kit that has cam, lifters and rockers they can include the push rods as long as the block deck height is stock hight. all the varibles are covered. I talked to Trickflow about 8 months ago and they said then that they made a top end kit but I never found it. Have not look since I went another rout, but it may have the pushrods in it and you can look at what lifter, rocker and cam they use in the kit as well as pushrod size. all parts are different so measuring is very important. Now days they make a ton of pushrod sizes so once you figure out the size you can get them. In the old days it was hard to find the right size rods. now you can go to summit and type in pushrod and seach by size. I hope someone gets one of these things together soon I want to know what they can do. I have another LT1 I want to build and might still want to use these heads.
