Fuel pressure gage?

Hey guys, I bought a fuel pressure gage today and I realized it has a relief valve just bellow the gage. I am guessing (since I have not used it yet and the car is not all back together yet) that this may have a one way check valve that will hold the highest pressure that the gage reads and I wont be able to see if the pressure falls off. Do you just remove the relief section from the gage and hose? This is the only way I would think you could see real time pressure. Is this correct? the gage is a actron fuel pressure test kit.

the little button releases the pressure after you test @ the rails. Should have a small hose to drain the fuel into a can or something.

So yeah, you would need to remove the brass block that houses the check valve. You will need a straight through coupler to connect the hose to the gauge istself. OR if you just pull the valve withthe hose and button thingy out of the tee part and cap the hole off it will work.
