Default problem making hp passed 4500

my camaro is breaking up around 5 and isnt making power just falls. i have new plugs,wires,and coil. sometime it shuts off while im coming to a stop.

sounds more like a fueling issue to me

thought of that the tuner says that the air to fuel was fine.

M friends car is doing the same thing. New opti icm wires plugs

I was thinking more along the lines of your fuel pump is taking a dump. has it been acting up since the tune? or did it run fine for a while?

it was breaking up on the dyno

i have new ngk tr6 plugs and i have replaced my icm, and all wires are fine.

Air/Fuel ratio is the ratio of fuel to air being mixed in the combustion chamber.

Fuel pressure is the amount of pressure in the lines and rails upstream of the injectors.

If you have low fuel pressure, the motor will run fine until that low pressure keeps the injectors from adding enough fuel. Thus causing missfire/hesitation/breaking up in the higher rpms under load. The afr would be fine up until the point where it starts breaking up.

Now that being said your problem could very well be your optispark, but it takes about 15 seconds to hook up a mechanical fuel pressure guage to your schrader valve and check the pressure. As opposed to 2-3 hrs to change the distributor.
