Engine out the bottom
Engine out the bottom I am dropping the engine and Im stuck on where to attach the hoist to the car. I have been using this page for a reference but where he shows it chained to the frame horns I have some plastic canister of some sort on the passenger side and I can't tell what it is. Is this some emissions equip that is on the later LT1's how do I get it out or is there somewhere else I can attach the straps?

is the box looking thing on the driverside under the frame horn part of the EVAP canister? Can I just get rid of this all together and run a vent line off of my tank? I am building this car for road racing. Keep in mind I don't have any emissions regulations in SC. I have already deleted EGR and AIR.
On the driver side? Thought that was the cruise modual but I could be wrong. My vac canister is on the passenger side, I think either way if you are road racing it then get rid of it.
