I bought the vortec and right now im not to happy with it. I haven't drove the car with it or anything yet, but i am trying ot get my lingenfelter cai on, and it wont fit. This elbow is longer than the stock rubber one so im either gonna have to cut it down to proper size or buy a diff one. Im liking the 1LE. I think the whole thing is really stupid...

that's odd...something must be a miss...do you still have the factory MAF? have you tried fitment with the vortech elbow with the stock airbox to see if it was the elbow itself, or the CAI?

yeah i have the factory MAF. I don't have the stock airbox, when i bought the car it came with some cheap autozone one. The only thing i can think is if the maf isnt butted up tight against the elbow. I'll have to play with it some more.

There's a dealer on ebay who's got em pretty cheap and they come with an airfoil. I couldn't be happier when I had mine.
