Great work once again.

I don't know why but I laughed when I saw the opti spinning on the platform . It's such an odd looking part next to the shiny beautiful turbo goodies.

Thumbs up Inspirational

I am currently on deployment and was planning on doing something similar, only supercharged, because I didn't think this application was possible. Thank you for opening my eyes. I will probably try something toned down to daily driver status, but your build has given me new hope for my LT1.

I have a Kevlar blanket for it. I will upgrade to the McLeod unit some time this year.

It is a bit small, but it's going to be one of those trial and error things. I called Griffin and they told me it can easily be cooled with one of their units in that space. The problem is they want about $600 for a rad, so I tried with a cheap unit. Time will tell if it works.

The Fram HP series is a good filter. It's high capacity (holds about a quart), it has a lot of filter media, and it's high flow. I have had more than 1 engine builder tell me that was the way to go, so I decided to listen .

I thought the same thing, but that's why it made the video. It's probably the most recognizable LT1 part out there, so it had to be a part of the line up.

Thanks again to all for your support

The next video should be up in 2-3 weeks. I have to get some people together to help me shoot the next video.

I use the Fram Racing filters also. High flowing quality filter. Now the non-racing filters I would never use.

As long as you don't buy it from Walmart you should be alright. I've seen a few builds in the Chevy mags use the racing filters.
