I would think almost the same, but that would be a question for Mufflex. I emailed them the other day, and got a reply back within a day.

Soon as this salt residue gets rinsed off the roads, I'll get my car out. Shouldn't be too long though.
Any tracks open up there yet?

Just something to check out Mike but I've personally heard that the spin-tech mufflers that Mufflex uses (I know they use Flowmaster mufflers too) do not flow anywhere near as well as they should. I don't know how super accurate these ppl are but it's something you should check out. Maybe go with a 4 inch system but try a different muffler. Just something to think about.

you can always have a local shop fab up your own 4" exhaust. or see if you can only get the piping from them and get your own muffler... summit has a magnaflow with the in/out centered for $130... that isnt that bad

Last car that I worked on that had (actually still has it) a 4" Mufflex with the Spintech Muffler put down 525 RWHP and ran mid 10's on motor. The thing gained about a tenth when we took the back half off and ran a Magnaflow Bullet right off the I pipe. We just chalked that up to the reduced weight of no muffler and tailpipes. Now granted this was all in a 3rd gen but it shouldn't be too much different than the 4th. Mike, as for the LT and LS versions.....there really isn't a difference other than some of the hangers at the back of the car.

Looking good! I'm really curious to see how you do this year at the track. Do you mess around with it at all on the street?

I just got my bottle heater and fuel jets, so I can't wait to install it and fine tune the nitrous on the dyno.

Ya it goes out on the street but not as much as Id like. Working 6days a week doesnt give me the free time to do so, and Id rather go to the track and beat on it when I have the time.
