Default Battery Tie Down

I tried searching but couldn't find anything. I planned on competing in some SOLO events this summer and I will not pass Tech Insp. if I don't get a battery Tie Down and I can't find any anywhere. Any help in locating a good one would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

You need a new coolant overflow tank/battery tray. i think they are $40 or so. I have the same problem with mine. i failed tech at a track years ago and never fixed it. i just haven't really done any racing since then, lol.

You can get those at autozone or just about any car parts place. They will order one if not in stock.

You can make one pretty easily with a few nuts, washers, all thread and a piece of flat stock

Mines broken to but it always passed tech. Although this year the battery will be in the trunk in a sealed battery box.

Bizzzatch350: what battery are you running? I had a bad experience with optima in the past and don't want to deal with that again.
