Headers dont clean the motors mounts...

Headers dont clean the motors mounts...

ok, so I have my motor out and was testing to see if the headers were going to clear the motor mounds and the driver side does not...I saw a few things onhere about it when i did a thread search but I need to know what motor mounts to get...or if there is another clearance issue...

They should clear them just fine...can you take pictures of your issues?

not at the moment...but its a 93 motor going into a 94 frame...does that matter?

it shouldn't make any difference and you should have tons of room, I have the same headers and mine fit great

My headers dont clean my motor mount either! I think your golden.......unless they dont clear? JK Pics would help!

yeah, i messed up...im hoping a mod will fix it...stupid autocorrection iphone bs. anyways...i cant get pics, I was hoping there was a straigh forward answer

Are you sure you have the right mount on the correct side? Driver side is the one that has the mount in the peice that bolts to the engine. Its very strange looking and sort of long. passenger side the mount bolts to the K member and has a boxy style part of the mount goes to the engine?
Another thought is make sure your not tring to bolt the header up to the first hole on the head near the exhaust port. It should be the second hole back from the front of the head in front of the exhaust port. hope there is an easy fix if none of the above. BFH mod works most of the time lol.
