Today im gonna drive the car and see how it runs since i replaced the filter. Ill check the other fuel stuff this coming week. Im thinking the fuel pump is going bad because sometimes when i start the car it just cranks and cranks and wont start. You gotta stop cranking for a second and then try again and it usually starts up.

Couldnt drive it. When i put my Fuel Pressure gauge in i messed up the crap plastic fuel line a little bit so i gotta fix that before driving. I would have had it done yesterday but i saw Alice In Wonderland at the IMAX in 3d. lol. That was a crazy movie in 3d. I might get a couple minutes to try fixing today if im lucky. Its the girlfriends birthday so you all know how that goes.

Took it out and drove the car. Still drives like ****. Put the freescan on it and the engine is showing alot of knock retard while driving and at idle just free revving. Only codes that come up is for my O2 sensors which the car has been running fine since November without the O2's and a code for Low-Res Failire, whatever that is. Im gonna change the plugs and replace the O2's this weekend.

When the one stopped working I disconnected the other one and the car was running perfectly fine till a week ago. It's only having a problem under moderate to heavy load. I'm gonna change the plugs and o2's together and see what happens. So far i don't like the way gm set up the lt1 engine. Too much **** in the way to work around.

Figured out the problem. Water pump is leaking a little bit on the optispark. The car runs fine after it sits for a long while and the coolant dries up but once its been driven a bit, itll missfire pretty bad. Im gonna try replacing the seals behind the water pump and hopefully itll be better again. Does the water pump have any gaskets besides the T-housing gasket?

Thanks man. Ill go pick up the gaskets and seal today and try to get this leak under control. Hope it didnt destroy the opti already. The opti is only a 1000 miles old.
