springs spring springs stock lt1 and want 1.6 rockers but everone keeps sayin i need new springs but i have no idea what im lookin for in that case i dont know what a good company to get roller rockers from and suggestions

I am not sure what exaclty the stock springs will handle so I am sure someone with more info in that respect will chime in here. If it is the stock cam I am not sure if you need to upgrade springs for 1.6 rockers but if you do I had good luck with Comp Cams 26918 beehive springs and Comp Ultra Pro Mag rockers are what I am going to order for the new combo as far as rockers are concerned

You need new springs because when you put 1.6rr on it increases the lift. Then you run onto coil binding and break a spring. Just upgrade to a better spring such as lt4 and beehive springs. You do gain so hp by going from 1.5 to 1.6. Less friction and more lift.
