Bought some ebay "kooks" knockoffs and was wondering what the bracket with four holes on the y pipe attaches to? Any pics?

 

it will not attach to anything it is welded in the wrong spot. i bought the same ones.

 

Good I guess I can just cut it off. Its in the way. Any idea what its supposed to connect to? Did you have any any issues bolting up the Y? I kinda fiddled with mine for a few minutes and it doesn't look like its going to fit to good.
