Default Poly motor mounts. Vibration problems?

I'm getting ready to put in a set of LPP headers and was going to change the motor mounts while I'm at it. If I use the poly motor mounts, how much do they increase the vibration in the car from the engine? I'm expecting some vibration increase, but is it unbearable? Should I stick with stock rubber mounts? TIA.

I've had them for years and when the car was just bolt-ons it didn't transfer too much vibration. Now with a cam its alittle more but I still don't think there too bad. If you install them you also might what to do a poly trans mount too because if you run poly motor mounts and a rubber trans mount the tend to work against each other and break the trans mount

I installed poly mounts once and could not stand the vibes. Went back to rubber.

I'm running the LPP's with Poly Motor mounts. Haven't noticed any extra vibration on my end.

I have them too, and if there is any increase it's minimal. What I do know, is that driving the car just feels so nice now, like everything is in it's place and it just responds. No slop.

^^X2..these cars are not cadillacs..lol

I have Poly Mounts with my 408, it's very smooth..maybe cause it's a balanced Engine.

They were a bitch to install though..I'll do everything I can to not have to pull that thing off of the K-member..lol

exactly. i did solids on an ls1, way easy, lighter, and they're more compact. took maybe 30 min to do. no drilling rivets hah.

Solids, plastic, molded clay whatever If you can't handle how these cars ride/handle then you are in the wrong game.
