I wouldn't consider the vet's sick people. They are just doing their job. No one forced the dog owner to take the dog to them, it was his own choice. I would much rather see someone or something (like a pet) that I care about go out in peace, rather than suffering. That's just me though. This is coming from a guy that's been around working dogs all his life (trained and breeded shepherds and malinois for local sheriffs and police stations) and has been attached to many of them. They all have to go sometime, let's make it as painless as possible.

Same can be said for humans. Watched my Dad die for 9 years, slowly. Lost my dog BO MAN about 5 years ago and I had a neat experiance last year when I watched some bitch dump a dog right in front of me as I was out for a drive in the camaro. Whipped around and the dog ran right out in front of me as I was going to chase her down. I stoped and the dog walked up and he was a spitting image of my Bo Man. Dumb bitch forgot he was chipped so I ran him up to the vet and had him scanned and told them I watched her *** dump him. I found him a good home since I have an 7 year old golden and a 10 year old cat that beats up my golden, and the house is to small for 3 pets to live here. I wish I could have kept him. As for my dad It is a very hard thing to watch someone die for 9 years. He faught hard, in hope someone could comeup with a fix for him. They never did in fact the sadest part is I don't think any of the doctors learned anything from his death from COPD.

New guy looks great! I worry about Max sometimes when he jumps. He gets airborn and doesnt always land on his feet. I could see something bad happen fast.

I had one of those, she was just a few yrs old, weighed 105lbs, all white. Very sweet, loving dog and very protective of the cats that my folks have too. She somehow got colin cancer, and had to be put down. That sucked, man.

Id like to have me another one, or a Husky/Alaskin Malamute breed.

Sorry to hear that man. They are awesome dogs for sure. My girl and I will probably get another one after Arthur goes.

Man I give it to you! I said enough with school after a few years of college and started making $$$. I have seen to many of my friends spend top dollar at big colleges and end up in other areas due to lack of jobs etc etc. Best of luck to you though!
