question about supercharged LT1

question about supercharged LT1 I posted this in the forced induction section but nobodys seem to want to help me. so maybe you LT1 guys can help
ok guys, This LT1 motor has a vortech V1 strim supercharger, and has recently rebuilt and has new seals and 65k bearings and a smaller pulley so its pulling around 9lbs of boost. It has never been tuned, before the supercharger was rebiult.
the car has only been driven about 45 miles since the supercharger rebuild and hasnt been tuned, since it has not been tuned @ full throttle it bounces off the rev limiter and wont shift until u let off the gas,
Is this bc it hasnt been tuned??? i was told after about 200 miles it will stop bc it will have a conservative tune and it will have learned itself, but it will still need to be tuned.
Or would it be a transmission problem??

i would say you need to lower the shift points in the computer/tune..as far as the lt1 computer learning/tuning itself..i wouldn`t hold my breath..you need to tune it for that much boost no matter what...you will hurt some thing....

no it doesn`t but hard to say..stay away from wide open throttle no matter what until u get it tuned..Did u drive the car prior to putting on the s/c,did the tranny shift ok ,slip or anything funny?

no i didnt drive it before any of this was done, its not my car, its a car i looked at and i have my mind pretty set on trading my car for it. Im hoping it just needs a tune.

94's/95s can get "Stall Wall" issues and refuse to shift at WOT with a loose stall. Unique to those years since it is only with computer controlled OBDI systems, and the 93 transmissions are not computer controlled while 96+ are OBDII.
Even though they use the OBDII connector 95s are OBDI.

Car MUST be fixed BEFORE you buy PERIOD!
Eliminates problems and all miscommunications. The car is only worth it if the transmission is shifting properly! I had a Vortech ~10 psi with Transgo clutches etc etc. It ate a stock transmission in a heart beat and that was in a 2850 race weight car.
