need help with rockers

Default need help with rockers

im thinking of buyin a set off 1.65 roller rockers is there anything special about them apposed to 1.6s im still running the stock cam in my 93 z28 what would the lift difference on a stock cam over the factory 1.5s

Divide your current lift by your existing rocker ratio and then multiply by the new ratio.

that puts the factory cam at 516 lift do i need to get diffrent springs or push rods the 93 comes with hardwned rods tho so im thinking they are good

from my understand ls6 springs are drop ins but need comp 787-16 retianers and a cheap way to be able to run 1.6 rockers..ls6 yellow springs are max lift of .550 i read this on a diff site ls1lt1 in lt1 tech

Not just 93's.... I don't know why people keep repeating that....

94's do too, but you should always check them with a file to be sure

im not sure how you got that number..but you are wrong..factory cam is .450/460 for lift in 93-95 camaros..so with a 1.65 rocker that gives you .495/.506 for lift an 1.7 is .510/.521 which is what ill be running
