put a new gm optie and msd wires on my car and still got a miss when i try to take it over 5 grand.when i say a miss its more than that its allmost like im hitting the revlimiter any ideals

budys car does same thing. replaced all ignition components looking towards valvetrain

replaced the plugs to, it has a new coil on it to im ready to stick a match to it

Have you looked at the condition of the opti harness and the ground wire?

Mine has done it sense I got it at 93k it not has 131k on it. Starts cutting out right before redline. I am going to relpace the fuel pump soon just for the hell of it

it started doing a while back then it broke down on me one day ,so i went and got my trailer and got it home.tore it down and the screws feel out of my button ,so i said that was the promblem .went ahead and put the new optie on and wires still does it .gonna get my buddys computer tomorrow and have him go for a ride with me while its hooked up mabe it will tell me whats wrong

this problem on my budys car started when another of my budies owned it lol. been like 4 years and its still there havent tryed opti harness though......hmmmmmmmmmm

low fuel pressure? It should be around 45 psi at WOT i think

If your a 96 or 97 this is a lot cheaper than the GM one. Like 200 bucks cheaper. about had a heart attack when the gm parts guy told me 236 bucks.

found my promblem it was my msd box unhooked the box and pluged straight into the coil and runs like a charm, thanks for all the input
