93 Camaro LT1

Here is the problem, when I first start it in the morning I need to hold the pedal down for about 1 -2 minutes and then everything is great. If I don't the idel drops really low. Before in the morning it started with the idel up high cause it is cold and then comes down on it's on.

Sometimes I don't even have to hold the pedal down and it starts like always.

Can some one please tell me why ? I was told it was the TPS, is it ?

Other than that the car drives great and I have no other problems.

the voltage is crucial...also if someone tells you to check the maf...you don't have one due to the 93 being an Speed Density car. 94 lt1 cars have a small host of changes to them electronically. I forgot the voltages off hand, but someone should chime in on them...did you replace the throttle body or adjust it by hand, that could be your problem. I bought my 93 with some mods, but have learned alot through this forum. Even though it came with the mods at 82k, I replaced the transmission, oil pan, and all of the front seals in it so most of it is done by me....don't need a mechanic to fix it...
