my headers do not use gaskets. manufacturer recommends black rtv only. no leaks

If you are going to use RTV as an exhaust sealant...you really should have used a copper RTV such as Permatex Ultra Copper. It is specifically designed to seal in an extreme heat environment unlike black RTV.

Yeah the copper one works good but black is not ment for high heat

Well i just picked up the Mr Gasket Ultra Seal 5903s so lets just hope these work better then the bullshit coppers that wouldnt seal for anything on me. Ill let you know how they work in the next day or two.

i buy to sets of fellpros and copper rtv them together never leak.

@ RTV on headers. Why would you muck that **** up when a dry header gasket does the same exact thing?

I used Percy's Seal For Good gaskets. They seemed to get great reviews when I was researching gaskets. The Felpro's also seemed to have a good rep.
